Our exquisite Luigi XVI sideboard, crafted in fine walnut, evokes the majesty of the French 1700s. The two-part structure consists of a base with two drawers and two doors (VS.4436), atop which sits a hutch that encloses two additional doors and as many as four shelves. The refinement of the design is expressed in the elegant raised frames, embellished with policromatic star inlays. Rigorous framed paneling enhances the base, while the hutch glistens with glass fronted cabinets. The central pilasters in bas-relief harmoniously connect to the chamfered pillars. Finally, the serpentine apron concludes with aristocratic bracket feet. This sideboard isn't just a piece of furniture, but a veritable chapter in the art of cabinet-making.
